agreed with you------today for better or worse I'm guilty of a bottom picking guess on Oct hogs-----which at the moment puts me in the seldom gifted, Lucky Guess category. So don't take offense if I say, I hope you are wrong. A better way to put it, since I can't disagree with what you are seeing------I'd appreciate a $5 upward tilted sideways range for 3-4 weeks to delay the next drop lower, if that wants/needs to happen. The hog market has no problem trading $5 sideways for 3-5 weeks. Also makes for good Fishing Weather.
