Re: I tell you, Dewey, I see nothing that - - -

DH, a lot of traders are in your corner as you have always said for every long, there is a short! I am not very optimistic the Oct however I believe there may be a chance with the Feb. Dennis is also becoming negative the hogs! ( compared to how he was). I am going to post some of what I received awhile ago from, I won't post who? but you probably have an idea!

"The hog trade is so boring it's difficult to write about this market every day. I'm amazed at how "gun shy" the trade has become concerning rising production. Folks, this is not a surprise. I'm also amazed at how little confidence traders have in the idea of record large demand for U.S. pork. Y-T-D hog slaughter is up nearly 3% yet the price of all pork cuts and cash hog prices remain well above year ago levels. Bellies are likely close to value meaning a bottom. They"ve dropped over 1.00 from the July 24th highs. Large quantities are being placed into the freezer. RECOMMEND to bull spread the Oct/Dec futures at 250 points or lower and risk 50 points, on a close from your point of entry."

Hightower is also recommending Buying Feb on a pullback (they didn't say how much)!

DH, I have just tried to give you an alternate view on the piggies. You quoted Long Bear today and as he once said the reason he used his handle he never knew for sure!
