From the Friday afternoon reports, the model projects that the component on Friday's kill will be in the range of unchanged to UP +0.30.

Generally I go to cash settlement with a handful of the expiring lean hog futures. This month I am flat. I'm more inclined to be long than short since packers are keeping their bids firm and the VVVs are discounted to the component by 0.69 at Friday's settlements.
