8/28/17 was down -1.08 to 75.04. The sell-off in the VVVs this morning has opened the "Gap" to -14.84 with the VVVs at a discount to the component.

The six-day moving average carcass weight eased to 208.25#. That is +0.96# yr/yr. Index hogs are a bit lighter at 207.86# and packer hogs are about the same as the non-packer hogs. Packers killed quite a large number of their hogs yesterday.

Still just a tiny bit short the VVVs. Now I can plainly see I should have been short a boat load but I wasn't. As usual, I, like Farmer Ed, talk hogs better than I trade them. Hopefully my "Talk" has helped some of your trades.
