8/7/17 was UP +0.06 AND the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will drop between -0.20 and -0.50. Packers still have a fair sized inventory of cheaper hogs purchased and the will depress the index for a day or two. Packer bids were all over the place in the various markets yesterday.

My profit target on a bunch of spreads keep getting hit and my inventory is being mildly depleted.
