7/11/17 was down -$0.03 and the model projects that the component on yesterdays kill will change in the range of -0.10 to +0.20. This suggests not a lot of change. Packers were able to purchase 95.8% of the moving average purchase of index hogs but only 85.4% of the moving average daily purchases of total hogs. Packers may be a little hungry for hogs today.
