7/7/17 was down -$0.28 and the model projects that the component on Friday's kill will move in the range of -0.20 to +0.10. The strong up-trend in the index seems to have now been broken. But how fast will it fall or how far will it fall? The strong demand has me thinking it will not be a major tumble.

Producers seeded to be willing sellers Friday. Packers made a total purchase of 126.9% of the moving average of daily purchases and on the Index hogs, packers purchased 137.2% of the moving average daily purchases.

A lot of deals were cut!
