Re: Sometimes, after the thick of battle

I step back and say "what was I thinking" then I try to decide if it was good trader instincts or was it pure emotional bias foolishness. What's done is done and I won't have a reliable answer until the next 60 min close and probably not until Monday mornings open. My crazy thought whether correct or not was, if a bounce back above 93.00 happened and stayed above for 60 min, the drop below would probably be proven a forced issue to give the springboard energy to begin the next rally to try again to get above 96.00. So I put my buy stops to liquidate all short positions @ 93.07 and then proceeded to buy a pair when it came back down to retest 93.00. I just can't seem to shake this bias that Dec will retest 99.00 before it can go into the seasonal Thanksgiving selloff.

If we keep the 60 min closes above 93.00 I will continue to keep my risk at 92.52 the rest of the day. Asking myself do I really want to carry these over the weekend. If Dec can push back above 94.00 maybe I'll risk the weekend anxiety of am I right or am I wrong. If not stopped out I will have to take whatever loss or profit I have. Just got the 60 minute close that decided I have to punt NOW. No choices here, gotta do what I gotta do, 92.87 out with a 17 cent loss on 2. Not too costly considering the foolishness behind my actions.
