Nearby lean hog futures seem to be hanging by a thread. I fact, some of my more sensitive work is suggesting shorts can be place in August hogs and possibly July as well here and now. The risk on such high risk trades is 75 points, close only.

And with cattle down 67 points and feeders off 230, shorts in front hogs may be good trading opportunity. Or, it may not!
