its the same with any consistently successful strategy, it's an art form combined with the correct mental wiring process, centered around mechanical momentum targets as well as Damage Control. I've tried to show a few others how to work a typical Fishing Drill with little success. Their head gets in the way from over thinking and not paying attention to the rules. Emotion also gets in the way when they leave some on the table or else impatience waiting for the Dinner Bell parameter. I've had a few tell me I'm not a trader because I'm too cautious and miss a lot of opportunities. I'm the first to admit that flaw in my strategy but each person that has told me that blew through 10-15K rather quickly doing it their way and is no longer has a trading account with me. Fine by me cause I don't need someone screaming at me to fix their problems------I have enough of my own to deal with.

Fishing works for me-----slow growth is far better than no growth. The only reason it works for me, is that in my early trading years, I realized I had an uncanny ability to know where to place my stops telling me my position was WRONG. Then I started realizing if I had reversed where my stops took me out, I would be back on the correct side------maybe only 15 minutes or an hour but sometimes days. That started a mental process of research and calculating how long and how much those momentum runs sustained themselves. One thing led to another and I started developing a process application guideline for using my stop ability to my advantage.

It took a lot of homework hours over several years and a lot of battlefront error tweaking(the tweaking is ongoing) but I have no complaints for the results from my LEMON-aide experiment. It has turned out to be very satisfying. Way better than how I used to end my days 5-6 years ago. My one regret is the consistency factor when used in other markets. There is something SPECIAL about the Hog Market that no other market offers.
