actually lecture everyone(my wife will vouch for my addiction to lecture) when you feel so confident, so convicted, feeling so sure of your bias------that is a red flag, screaming your wrong or about to be BLINDSIDED. It's happened to me so many times, I now dump my positions or move my Damage Control to break even, whenever that feeling of confidence takes over my thought process. It has served me well the last 5 years I've been doing this. I ignored that rule in 2014 with the PED scare and regretted it in a major way to a 10k donation. The most painful lesson I've ever had to re-learn which is "Donations should be limited to the pain of a Paper Cut". I have a reminder on my computer screen that reads " The Prime Directive Rules #1 Damage Control #2 Keep Donations Minimal #3 Life Changing Penalties from Wife if Rule #1 or #2 are Broken.

Since I have a frequent tendency to be a rule bender which can easily turn into a breaker without realizing it, Rule #1 and #2 are meaningless without Rule #3. If mama ain't happy, nobodies happy(that's putting it mildly).
