we will have a demand surge or not but we usually do. The data seems to be telling us quite clearly that hogs have been pulled forward. This seems to have the stage set for a move up in the index at about the time that the MMMs go to cash settlement. I often do some of my best trading in the front month when we approach cash settlement.
