historical data shows that there is a strong tendency for the Index to move higher in front of both the Memorial Day holiday and the Independence Day holidays. It also shows that it tends to dip after the Memorial Day holiday demand bulge passes. In spite of that tendency to decline at this point in time, I added some long MMMs. Now to see if I will be able to hold them long enough to get to the next demand bubble.

I'm glad to hear that you had a good trade in the MMMs. I scored on the JJJs but didn't do much with the KKKs. Just not enough volume there to do much although I trade the K/M spread regularly. It took a bit out of my toward the end of the trade. I need to run the numbers to see how the trade ended up for the year.
