that's nothing compared to the "bumpy ride" the cattle/hog spread dished out this year. It certainly wasn't the usual Paint Drying Effect its known for. PATIENCE for the entry was the calling card for this years cattle/hog spread. I was so exhausted from this years attempt-----I gave up trying. It has held to its addiction for the annual spread squeeze of a 10-15 dollar payout if your patience and timing was correct. If a guy would have been smart enough/brave enough to put that spread on the day that June cattle put in their high @ the 134 area, he probably could have gotten a 58-59 spread. At one point today I noticed it was trading 46. I hope its more cooperative next year------I'm gonna miss that $10 deposit for this year. I've come to expect it as a Slam Dunk-Done Deal but not no more. Next year, I'll probably be jumping at all sorts of 2017 shadows.
