getting some pressure today. I'm still profitable but I need to give some thought to defensive action, so I'm ready if the need arises. I have my damage control @ 34.50 but I like to take defensive scalping action if it starts trading close to the break even area. I missed a golden opportunity yesterday, to grab a $1 cushion with the move cattle made.

I was so focused on getting my hedgers into defensive spreads, it didn't even think about watching my own back until the opportunity had passed. Ain't the first time I've put others needs before my own-------that will continue to happen but that's what I get paid to do. My needs only get tended to, when all the sheep are safe and sound and away from the sharks. If I miss something or take on some damage----no big deal------tomorrow is always a new ball game. My joy comes from getting paid to do what I love doing, trade the markets and only suffer minimal damage at times.

To keep damage potential at a minimum level and consistently keep the account growing is such a challenge(the challenge is the root cause of my addiction) considering all of the Hallucinations I'm constantly plagued with. I constantly deal with Greater Minds than mine, that have problems navigating the market mine fields. From my early teen years, I always noticed that I could "Out Think" the Best of the Best that had been blessed with far greater psychical or mental abilities than mine to make me a winner. It always starts from the challenge of doing something, that I shouldn't be able to do. I'm always fascinated by the wiring that motivates people and makes them do what they DO or DO NOT DO.

I can hear my wife whispering in my ear "your on the verge of a lecture mode" so I'd better get my focus back to trading
