that wasn't suckers. The market finally did what it was begging to do after two days of smoke and mirrors confusion and two days of suckers last week where I was hallucinating for each direction. So I persisted in keeping my fishing lines on both ends of the pond and waited for today knowing that sooner or later there had to be something better than suckers. South lines hit @ 65.07 and deposits banked @ 64.70 and 64.60 and felt vindicated and brave enough to reset a bounce @ 65.10. I was holding out for a hit on 64.30 but the Prime Directive has caused me to lose my bravery so I threw 1 back @ 64.75 and pulled my Damage Control down to break even on the other one. Now I wait.

I still favor my Hallucination that the top end of the range will be retested and probably broken with a run @ my 67.20 target as long as we don't see a daily close below 64.00. Many times the market needs to GO DOWN in order to get the bounce energy to GO BACK UP and the opposite for a market needing/wanting to go down. With cash trending higher and this close to the expiration trade, I have to believe the roll over for the March Washout won't be set and ready to trigger until April takes over as front month. I have a potentially nasty negative cycle waiting to bring its influence the last week of Feb into the first days of March. I will be focusing on getting short positions in place for my hedgers April hogs and my Hallucinations have me aggressively favoring south fishing lines for April after it hits my 71.40-72.00 hedger targets. I do realize that new contract highs are very possible for the April contract but will still have to resort to at least a $5 dip for a trading range for a week or two if it does find the power to go after the potential 74.00 target that will get marked as a potential menu item if new contract highs happen.

Keep in mind that just because a new target gets marked to go on the menu-------doesn't mean it will get served to those wanting and waiting for it. I always tell my hedgers "every new marked target, can and may become the target that never gets the KISS it's begging for".
