12/29/16 was up $0.06 and the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will change in the range of -0.05 to +0.25. Packers were wanting hogs yesterday and they were willing to pay a little more to get them.

And they got them- 120.4% of the moving average daily purchases.

It is no secret why they want them; their margins are good, they are moving the product and they are making money!

Scalping has worked in the GGGs this morning but I would sure like to move a few calendar spreads off my boat.
