12/28/16 was down -$0.45 and the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will decline in the range of -0.10 to -0.40. With the holiday schedule, packers are not wanting a lot of hogs to process. I think it is generally difficult for produces to get hogs shipped during the holidays. After the first of the year, packers are going to have a little clean-up work to do to get current with production.

I'm now flat the GGGs and waiting for the market to tell me what to do. My bias is to do some short scalping today. Now to see is the market co-operates.
