12/2/16 was up +0.89 to 50.88. The ZZZs are now trading at a tiny, tiny discount to the component - - - in other words, they are now in lock-step with each other.

The 6-day moving average carcass weight moved up to 212.14# That is -2.11# yr/yr. Packer hogs are now heavier than the non-packer hogs by 4.33#. I am now thinking packers are finishing their hogs to heavier weights because they are wanting more pork and it must be demand at these lower prices that have them anxious to get the pork. Packer hogs were heavier today by nearly 1/2# and non-packer hogs were lighter by about -1/3#. Index hogs were up a little today at 211.47#.

I took some profits on a couple of long ZZZs this morning and made a couple of scalps. I have buy and sell orders working so I will trade either way.
