the USDA the information needed to put out the morning reports so the final Purchase Index will be late. From the afternoon reports it appeared that there may be a touch of weakness in the Purchase Index.

The cutouts were strong so packers seem to be moving the product just fine. The kill yesterday brought the total for the week to +4.46% over the same period last year. Hogs are coming to market lighter in weight so this is taking some of the pressure off.

It looks like the ZZZs are going to open a little higher this morning.
