The 6-day moving average carcass weight moved up to 210.55#. That is -0.03# yr/yr. And that means they are essentially the same. Packer hogs are not +0.93# over non packer hogs and Index hogs were also heavier but below the rest at 209.75#.

The producers of index hogs may be doing a better job of getting current than the rest of the producers.
