9/13/16 was only down -0.01 to 63.83. The weakness in the VVVs has opened the "Gap" to -8.23 with the VVVs being at a discount to the component. That is some "Gap". I decided, "Close enough" and covered my short VVVs but might get short again if there is a bounce this afternoon.

The six-day moving average carcass weight was down slightly to 208.96#, That is -1.00# year/year. There seemed to have been a little weakness in the weight of hog across the board. Perhaps packers have got the back-log of the holiday no-kill behind them now.

This morning i bought some of the Q7/V7 spreads. Maybe it was a mistake.
