5/13/16 was up 0.36 to 76.90. That puts the cash settlement index for the KKKs at 76.72 (if I didn't make a key-punch error). The MMMs are now trading premium to the component by 5.45. That's quite a premium for the index to have to make up but it makes that much of a move in some May/June time lines.

The six-day moving average carcasss weight moved up to 213.96#. That is +0.55# yr/yr.

Index hogs were also a tiny bit heavier at 211.99#. Still catching up from Friday.
