8/22/14 kill was down -1.29 to 102.68. With the jump in the VVVs this morning, that has closed the index to VVVs discount to 8.83.

The six-day moving average carcass wt firmed mildly to 212.88#. That is +9.05# yr/yr. Packer hogs were a bit heavier while non-packer hogs were mildly lighter. Over the past couple of months, the weight of packer hogs has trended lower compared to non-packer hogs.
