2/23/15 was up +0.10 to 66.54. The bullishness of the JJJs yesterday opened the "Gap" to 4.93 with the JJJs being premium over the component.

The six-day moving average carcass weight is at 213.07# and that is up mildly. Index hogs are at 212.35#. It continues to appear that index hogs have been pulled forward a little and the mild downtrend in the overall carcass weights may be indicating that the mildly lower kill rate may arrive a little earlier than suggested by the last H&P report.

Sometime ago I indicated that the I thought the rising index would bump the JJJs up a little and it seems to be happening.
