2/11/16 was up 0.12 to 65.97 and that is almost exactly where the GGG pig just now died. The 6-day moving average carcass weight was 213.35# down 2.31# year /year. Index hogs were a bit lighter at 212.62#. this just makes me think that producers of Index hogs have pulled their hogs forward a little and if that is the case, it could be mildly supportive for the index.

I mad a few trips to the bank this morning to deposit some profits for getting some long M/N spreads off my boat. I was also able to add a sort J/K spread. I don't like that spread nearly as much as the long K/M but you have to do what the market will let you do.

My Hog Pricing Model turned out to be a mighty handy tool for trading the GGGs on this cycle.
