2/2/16 was way UP! Plus 0.84 to 63.91. That has cut the "Gap" to 0.74 with the GGGs still premium to the index component. The number of index hogs killed yesterday was the lowest I have seen for quite a while. I'm suspecting producers are having a little trouble loading out hogs in this winter weather. The 6-day moving average carcass weight on the index hogs was sharply lower but the other hogs weight was little changed.

I hope ITZ is having good luck fishing today. I'm really not getting anything done. I still like the long side of the GGGs as we move toward cash settlement.
