looks to be set between 55-60 for the next couple weeks or however long it takes cash to catch a demand spark to extend the field $5 higher to 64-65. This could happen with a friendly report next week or be postponed until after mid Jan to give us rally potential for the early Feb timeframe. The weekly chart has potentially heavy downtrend resistance @ the 66-68 area @ mid Feb also the time April takes over as front month. There has been a tendency this last year for rallies just before or at expiration of front month------then a sizable selloff of 5,10, or 15 dollars for 3-4 weeks as the new front month takes over. I do have another swing cycle low for the hog market due in mid to late March. There is almost always a March washout of 5-10 dollars, with the exception of the 2014 PED space mission. I'm looking for a $5 sideways range to confuse us more into mid Jan, then maybe a $5 extension for Feb to kiss the 64.00 target and also push April to 67-68 to set up another selling opportunity for the March Washout.

That is the hallucinations I'm dealing with now------how reality falls in place is yet to be determined. I do expect good fishing weather for the next 4 weeks so it doesn't matter to me if my hallucinations become reality or not, they do serve me as a good guide for how and where the fishing holes may show up. I had a pair of north lines snagged @ 56.30 early today and made the first deposit @ 56.95 and was surprised that the first 60 min close was triggering UP momentum above 57.00 so I added another @ 57.10 and set my deposit order @ 57.70 the next projected target. To my surprise it blew right through the first bounce line and didn't stop until it hit the 2nd bounce line. That somewhat validates to me that the bears are lightening their load but will probably try to resell @ 60.00. I've talked myself into holding my other 56.30 over the weekend as long as damage control doesn't take me out. Sometimes my conviction to hold through the weekend gets a last minute panic attack of keep what I have. I'll find out how strong my conviction is before long.
