12/4/15 was down -0.26 to 56.12. The ZZZs are now discounted to the component by -0.19. They are nearly in lock-step with six more days of data to come in. I had a conflict this morning and didn't get the Purchase Index posted but it was also down. The up-trend may have petered-out rather quickly. The morning reports showed that packers made a very large purchase on Friday at 133.0% of the moving average purchases and this they did with mildly lower bid prices.

Not a good sign!

The six-day moving average carcass weight was up to 214.53# this morning. That is -2.11# yr/yr.
