Y I K E S! The CME component on the kill for - -

11/6/15 was down -1.99 to 61/70. Packers are getting dead-serious about getting their cost of product down and down in a hurry. The six-day moving average carcass weight has moved up to 213.64#. I suppose it is possible that packers have been a little slow to kill as they have been working prices lower and producers may have fallen a little behind in their shipments. It is the escalating carcass weights that has me wondering about this. To be sure this is the time of the year when hogs grow rapidly but the kill over the past few weeks has been below projections so producers may have a few extra hogs to market.

Time will tell.

This morning I have been able to scalp a couple of ZZZs. There were more set-ups but I was a little timid.

Best wishes,
