9/29/15 was up +0.33 to 72.40. The VVVs are now trading premium to the component by 1.75. Traders are thinking that packers are going to be bidding higher for hogs for the next ten days. I tend to agree with them so I bought a pair of VVVs this morning. Have taken one to the bank and am letting the other one work. I may even hold it to cash settlement.

The V/Z spreads have treated me well this morning.

Looking at the carcass weights, I think producers are keeping quite current in their shipments.
