9/18/15 was down -0.10 to 71.23. As I look at my screen, I can see that the VVVs are trading premium to the index by 0.75. I said this morning that I felt the index would be strong enough to push the VVVs up a point or two and we are now seeing that happen.

The six-day moving average carcass weight continued to move higher being 210.41#. That is -2.50# yr/yr and +5.98# over 2013.

There was good market action earlier in the day but it has now turned quiet.
