8/12/15 was up +$0.53 and the model projects that the CME Lean Hog Index component for the 8/12/15 kill will be up between +0.10 and + 0.40. Packers made a fair purchase yesterday at 94% of the moving average daily purchases. And they had to bid higher to get that many.

I just don't know what to expect from hog today. I had been long the QQQs thinking the "Gap" was too wide and futures would need to jump. This they did and I took my profits and ran - too soon as it turned out. But the money is still in the bank.

Today I will be looking for a set-up to make a quick scalp here or there. I just hope it won't be my scalp.
