The CME component on the kill for - - -

8/7/15 shed -0.32 falling to 78.75. This sparked a sell-off in the QQQs and they are now discounted to the component by -1.70. This may have ignited some gunning of the stops and caused the QQQs to dip too low. I see they have moved off the 76.80 low. I sold a few QQQs on the spike this morning and covered them on the way down. Have now bought some thinking the "Gap" is too wide with only 5 more days of data to get us to a cash settlement index.

I am missing the guidance of the Hog Pricing Model projecting a cash settlement index. When it can make a projection, it is a great trading tool in front of expiry.

Ka! Ching!! Ka! Ching!! Just got two short V/Z spreads of the deck of my boat at my targeted profit. My boat would be riding high in the water except for the long QQQs I just piled on it. I don't think I have enough of them to do much damage in the next four days.

Best wishes,

dhm
