7/17/15 was down 0.14 to 79.82. The QQQs are now discounted to the component by -4.22. The six-day moving average carcass weight firmed to 211/34#. That is -2.48# year/year but +7.11# over 2013. This is the time of the year when weights should be on the decline but there is not much decline. In fact, the weight has been locked in the 211.0# to 211.50# for about three weeks. This has me thinking that producers have ample numbers of hogs to ship.

I have been scalping some QQQs today and I have been a lot more comfortable with the short scalps that the longs although they have both worked.
