My approach to trading has been to use a trend line method which targets on identifying the reversal of a very short-term trend with a heavy emphasis on the fundamentals to help me identify whether I want to sell first or buy first. As I understand your fishing lines, they focus on identifying a trend and jumping on that trend. This difference in underlying strategy has me thinking about possibly selling when you are buying and buying when you are selling.

In spite of this difference, we often both make money in a given market movement.

I find the hog market to be unique amonst all of the markets because of the large amount of fundamental data available. Trading hogs keeps me anxious for each new day to come.
