the fishing waters are GOOD. The hard part is always a correct guess for how big the catch really is. I was expecting my south end fishing lines to get the call today for a drop to 81.00 followed by a reversal. I was wrong on that thought! My fishing guide says being wrong is ok as long as damage control is used. Successful fishing demands that both ends of the pond have lines set because I'm not smart enough to know which end is the feeding waters.

My north lines got the call today @ 83.42 and in my quest to think I was smarter than the fish, I had written off the day as a non-event day and had turned my attention to the cattle market. I hadn't even given much thought to a target for profit on one, at the 84.00-84.50 area. May have missed my chance because of complacency. I may have to settle for 83.80 or carry 2 into tomorrow but that's bending my rules which usually doesn't end in my favor. The Prime Directive stepped in and forced me to make the correct choice, even if it proves to be wrong, I still end up a winner and not facing a possible painful gut punch. Deposit on 1 made @ 83.85 and damage control set on the remaining long @ breakeven. Whatever happens next is out of my control but at least I can go home PAIN FREE with my pockets fuller than when I started the day.
