4/1/15 was down -0.06 to 59.59. It was mostly the "Negotiated Hogs" that were lower. I believe in the next day or two the "Negotiated Hogs" will have a POP because packers have been bidding higher for them.

The six-day moving average carcass weight was nearly unchanged at 214.43#. That is -1.02# lower than the same date last year. Producers are continuing to liquidate some of their heavies. I thought this might happen with the supply numbers being strong and prices deteriorating.
