7/16/14 kill was down 0.04 to 134.16. The weakness of the QQQs this morning has opened it discount to the Index to 4.88.

The six-day moving average carcass weight is steady at 213.35# which is +9.90# year over year.

As is so very often the case, when I get a market bias, the hogs will do exactly the opposite. Being long a few QQQs is not working out very well today.
