Thanks to ITZ and Spike for your posts ! Dewey, I use stops almost always on my livestock trades. I try not to set them too close, or more than likely they'll get hit. I hate to have a nice profit and next thing you know, it's gone! Lots of the time I'll put it at break even, then raise it a little to protect profits. I shorted june hogs last week, with a stop. I'm up a little today. My short cattle are doing much better ! Finished harvest a couple days ago after a week long weather delay. Maybe can watch the markets a little closer now !
