didn't surprise me----it Shocked me. My anxiety meter was about ready to blow a gasket. I forced myself to wait for the close on the 5th which was above critical support, so my anxiety got some relief telling me I needed to wait the 3 days needed to negate the triggered sell signal. Fridays close finally negated the 183.80 sell signal but I wouldn't be surprised to see a crazy Monday retest of 182.00 support or even Fridays low. I would be happy if any Monday backfill held with a test of 183.00. This is certainly not playing out the way I expected.

Mondays fast Flush is a sign of things to come during Sept/Oct for the cattle market as well as all markets. I can't find any positive cycle energy after August 20th-23rd and the next two weeks could be a choppy trade environment. I had expectations for a strong rally into the 15th-20th for Aug cattle to ring the Bell @ the 192.00 target but that's not going to happen now. I can make a case for Aug to get a brief kiss on 190.00 but after last week that seems like only in your dreams. The cattle market does have a fascination for Double Tops, so a retest of the 189 area is doable but I will probably be happy if they tag the 187 area because we could only have one chance. My major focus now, is to get more short Oct and they will probably not do any better than having a 1-2 dollar deficit to Aug. I would like to see Oct trade @ 186 to add to my short positions but waiting for 187 may not happen.
