Itz, I don't know about the month but it was sure an ugly day!!

I did not get a margin call however, I got an e-mail as follows- Dewey, we believe you're at great risk of additional loss with the large long position in lean hogs. I'd strongly consider cutting and running as this market, in our opinion, is likely headed lower into the late august timeframe. The e-mail came to me at 9:40 this morning before they crashed! I did not take his advice but did not buy any more!

I don't have any idea how low they are going but I have learned over the years when everything looks the bleakest usually the worm turns!

Several are predicting mid to lower 50's. I think the futures will be an indicator of the cash market to come, so hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!
