is projecting that the Purchase Index is going to be down today and the component on today's kill will be down as well. It appears to me that packers are running large numbers of their hogs through the plants and dropping their bid prices on the non-packer hogs. Those guys know what they are doing!

Some of the deferred contracts really got hammered today but the spreads enabled me to survive just fine it appears.

I also appreciate your posts, ITZ. Today I tried to see if I could fish and caught a couple of small ones. I have this trend-line reversal approach that I also use and it seems to run counter to the fishing approach.
