4/29/16 was up +$0.96 and the model projects that the component on Friday's kill will be up between 0.65 and +0.95. With these higher bids packers made a solid purchase at 108.7% of the moving average daily purchases.

This morning when it was time for me to run the final Purchase Index packers were late. Then I got busy loading hog spreads on and off my boat and couldn't get to the Purchase Index.
