10/21/15 was up a fraction of a penny at 74.27. The ZZZs are trading discount to the component by 7.37. That may be just a bit wide making a little rally in the ZZZs possible someplace along the way.

The six-day moving average carcass weight was a little firm at 211.83#. That is -2.82# Yr/Yr. Packer hogs were nearly a half pound lighter and non-packer hogs were about that much heavier. Packler hogs continue to run about three pounds heavier than the non-packer hogs. I'm a bit doubtful that we will get to the point that we consistently see 220# carcasses but hogs regularly surprise me.
