I am asleep at the helm and miss its on-set. That is what happened this time around. The USDA gave us a clear "Heads Up" in the last H&P report that the expansion phase had started. I didn't wake up to the fact for a couple of months later. I will try not to miss the liquidation phase so badly.

Actually, the hog cycle has been a bit docile for a while but the PED virus may have caused it to show a little more spunk.
