Hello Chuck, Yes that was my idea on fieldwork however Itz could give you a much better idea on that than me as he lives in Neb and deals with a lot of livestock farmers.

Listen to DH as he studies the hog cycle. I believe he is correct in thinking we are still in expansion phase of hog cycle. If that is correct we could run out of shackle space this fall. I am very bearish the fall & winter contracts. If the summer contracts are down by 100 pts or more tomorrow I may decide to get out of all of them tomorrow.

The infamous pig report is due out the 27th. It will give us an idea of how much the last one was off and how the correction affects the market!
